Stainless steel tees are fittings and pipe connectors. Used at the branching point of the main pipeline.
Stainless steel tees can be divided into equal diameter and reduced diameter, and the connecting ends of equal diameter tees are of the same size; The main pipe of the reducing tee has the same connecting size, while the connecting size of the branch pipe is smaller than that of the main pipe.
Material
The commonly used materials for stainless steel tees include 304, 304L, 316, 316L, S30408, S30403, S31608, S31603, SUS304, ASTM A403, TP321, TP317L, 347, 0Cr18Ni9, 00Cr19Ni10, 00Cr17Ni14Mo2, 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 06Cr17Ni12Mo2, 022Cr17Ni12Mo2, etc.
Dimensions
The size selection of stainless steel tees depends on specific application requirements, including the design pressure, temperature requirements, and fluid properties of the pipeline system. Choosing the appropriate size of stainless steel tee is crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of the system.
Description
Stainless steel tee is a type of pipe fitting used at pipeline branches. For manufacturing tees using seamless pipes, two common processes are hydraulic bulging and hot pressing forming. Hydraulic bulging of stainless steel tees is a forming process that uses axial compensation of metal materials to expand branch pipes. The process involves using a dedicated hydraulic press to inject liquid into a tube blank with the same diameter as the tee. The two horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic press move synchronously to center and squeeze the tube blank. The volume of the tube blank decreases after being squeezed, and the pressure of the liquid inside the tube blank increases as the volume of the tube blank decreases. When the pressure required for the expansion of the stainless steel tee branch pipe is reached, the metal material flows along the mold cavity under the dual action of the side cylinder and the liquid pressure inside the tube blank to expand the branch pipe.

Specifications and Dimensions
The size range of stainless steel tees is wide, depending on different types and applications.
The dimensions of duplex stainless steel tees include positive tees (same diameter tees) and reducing tees, with specifications ranging from DN15-DN600 (1/2 '-24').
The specifications of stainless steel Y-shaped tee fittings range from DN50 to DN150, including DN50, DN60, DN65, DN80, DN100, DN125, DN150, in millimeters. There are multiple thickness options for these fittings, such as 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, and 2.5mm2.
There are also various sizes of 304 stainless steel tees, such as 1684mm, 573mm, 1144mm, 343mm, 2194mm, 1334mm, etc. These sizes include diameter and thickness.
Usage Instructions
Stainless steel tees are widely used in various industries such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, food processing, and shipbuilding.
Stainless steel tees, as a type of pipe fitting and pipeline connector, are mainly used at the branching point of the main pipeline, and are divided into two types: equal diameter and reducing diameter. The size of the connecting end of the equal diameter tee is the same, while the size of the main connecting pipe of the different diameter tee is different from that of the branch connecting pipe, and the size of the branch pipe is generally smaller than that of the main pipe. This type of pipe fitting is widely used in various industrial fields due to its strong corrosion resistance and ductility, which allows it to operate stably in high temperature and high pressure environments without easily breaking or deforming.
Stainless steel tees also play an important role in household applications. For example, in a water supply system, a water supply pipeline may need to be connected to multiple water points, such as washbasins, showers, and bathtubs, and effective connection of these pipelines can be achieved by installing stainless steel tees. In addition, stainless steel tees can also be used to divert fluids in pipelines, by changing the direction of the fluid and distributing the medium, to achieve the effect of accelerating or slowing down the flow velocity.

How to perform corrosion detection on seamless pipe elbows?
Improper use of seamless pipe elbows can lead to corrosion. Once corrosion occurs, the wall of the seamless pipe elbow typically thins, and localized pitting and corrosion appear. Methods for detecting corrosion in seamless pipe elbows include: Leakage magnetic flux detection is based on the high permeability of ferromagnetic materials.
