Carbon Steel Reducing Pipe

Carbon steel reducers, also known as reducers, are divided into concentric reducers and eccentric reducers. The implementation standards are GB/T12459-2005 and GB/T13401-2005. The main production area is in Mengcun Hui Autonomous County, Hebei Province.

Material: The materials are divided into carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel.

Dimensions: The specification range of carbon steel reducers is DN15-DN2000

Description

(1)The representation method is to multiply the diameter of the large head by the diameter of the small head. For example, "8 × 6" means that the diameter of the large head is 8 inches, and the diameter of the small head is 6 inches.

(2)The pressure wall thickness is Sch5s Sch10s、Sch10、Sch20、Sch30、Sch40s、STD、Sch40、Sch60、Sch80s、XS;Sch80、Sch100、Sch120、Sch140、Sch160、XXS.

(3)The materials are divided into carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel.

Specifications and Dimensions

The product specifications and dimensions of carbon steel reducers mainly include parameters such as diameter and wall thickness. Specifically, the product specifications and dimensions of carbon steel reducers can cover the following aspects:

Diameter: Carbon steel reducers have a wide range of diameters and can be customized with different diameters according to specific needs. For example, in the product specifications of some reducers, the diameter can reach 89x57, which means that the large end diameter of the reducer is 89mm and the small end diameter is 57mm. ‌

Wall thickness: Wall thickness is also one of the important specifications for carbon steel reducers. For example, the wall thickness of some carbon steel reducers can reach 5mm, which ensures the strength and durability of the reducers. ‌

Execution standards: The execution standards for carbon steel reducers are also part of their specifications. For example, some carbon steel reducers comply with the standard 12459-2005, indicating that the reducer meets specific national standards. ‌

Material: Carbon steel is a commonly used material for making reducers, which has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for various industrial and civil construction fields. ‌

Usage Instructions

Carbon steel reducer is a type of pipe fitting used to connect pipes of different diameters. It has a wide range of applications and is mainly used in industries such as metallurgy, power, water treatment, petroleum, and mechanical equipment. These industries have high requirements for pipeline connections and require the use of high-quality fittings to ensure the safety and efficiency of the pipeline system. Carbon steel reducers, due to their unique material and design, can meet the high requirements of pipeline connections in these industries, and have therefore been widely used in these fields. ‌

Technical Parameters

Material: The main material of carbon steel reducers is carbon steel, which has good strength, toughness, plasticity, as well as good weldability and corrosion resistance. ‌

Standards: The production of carbon steel reducers follows multiple national and industry standards, including but not limited to national standards (GB/T12459-2005), American standards (ANSI B16.5 and ANSI B 16.47), British standards, and various non-standard high-pressure stamping standards. ‌

Structural features: Carbon steel reducers are divided into two types: concentric reducers and eccentric reducers. The characteristics of eccentric reducing pipes are higher strength than carbon steel with the same carbon content, good toughness and plasticity, as well as good weldability and corrosion resistance. ‌

Application areas: Carbon steel reducers are widely used in municipal water supply systems, power cable communication pipeline systems, secondary water supply systems, central air conditioning systems, heating pipeline systems, fire pipeline systems, high-rise building water supply systems, residential water supply and drainage systems, as well as industries such as electricity, petroleum, natural gas, chemical, and metallurgy. ‌

Production process: The forming process of carbon steel reducers includes reducing diameter pressing, expanding diameter pressing, or reducing diameter plus expanding diameter pressing. Stamping forming can also be used for certain specifications of reducers. The reduced diameter forming process is to place a billet with the same diameter as the large end of the reducer into a forming mold, and through compression along the axial direction of the billet, the metal moves along the mold cavity and shrinks into shape. Depending on the size of the reducer's diameter change, it can be divided into one-time compression forming or multiple compression forming. ‌

Size specifications: Carbon steel reducers come in various sizes to meet the needs of different pipeline systems, including but not limited to DN80/DN50 SCH40 20 eccentric reducers. ‌
