I. Classification by Angle (Most Common)

1. Common Angles

45° Elbow

90° Elbow (Most Used)

180° Elbow (U-bend)

2. Special Angles

22.5° Elbow

60° Elbow

30°, 75°, 135° and other non-standard angles (customizable)

II. Classification by Length Radius (R)

1. Long Radius Elbow (LR)

Radius = 1.5D (D is pipe diameter)

Most commonly used in engineering

2. Short Radius Elbow (SR)

Radius = 1.0D

Suitable for installation areas with limited space

III. Classification by Nominal Diameter (DN) (Common Sizes)

Commonly used elbow diameter models (applicable to carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, PP) Pipelines (e.g.):

DN20 (3/4")

XXS (Thickened)

The greater the wall thickness, the stronger the pressure resistance.

V. Classification by Connection Method

1. Butt-welded elbow: Most widely used, high pressure resistance, suitable for medium and high pressure pipelines.

2. Socket-welded elbow: Mostly used in small-diameter, high-pressure systems.

3. Threaded elbow: Commonly used for small diameters (DN15–DN100).

4. Flange elbow: Less common, mostly used in special equipment or maintenance scenarios.
