What are the common specifications and models of elbow pipe fittings?

I. Classification by Angle (Most Common)

1. Common Angles

45° Elbow

90° Elbow (Most Used)

2. Special Angles

II. Classification by Length Radius (R)

1. Long Radius Elbow (LR)

Radius = 1.5D (D is pipe diameter)

Most commonly used in engineering

2. Short Radius Elbow (SR)

Radius = 1.0D

Suitable for installation areas with limited space

III. Classification by Nominal Diameter (DN) (Common Sizes)

1. Butt-welded elbow: Most widely used, high pressure resistance, suitable for medium and high pressure pipelines.

2. Socket-welded elbow: Mostly used in small-diameter, high-pressure systems.

3. Threaded elbow: Commonly used for small diameters (DN15–DN100).

4. Flange elbow: Less common, mostly used in special equipment or maintenance scenarios.

    Advantages of seamless carbon steel elbows

    The raw material for seamless carbon steel elbows is seamless steel pipe. The main production process involves heating and piercing a round tube billet, then rolling it using three-roll cross rolling, continuous rolling, or extrusion to set (or reduce) the outer diameter of the pipe.
