1. Material Composition

Mainly composed of iron, it contains a high proportion of chromium (Cr), typically above 10.5%. Elements such as nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo), and titanium (Ti) may also be added.

Its greatest advantage is its strong corrosion resistance, making it particularly suitable for use in environments with corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts.

Based on carbon steel, it incorporates elements such as manganese, molybdenum, chromium, nickel, and vanadium, but the content is generally lower than that of stainless steel.

The primary purpose is to improve strength, toughness, wear resistance, and high-temperature resistance, rather than corrosion resistance.

Strong corrosion resistance (especially in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries).

Smooth surface and low fluid resistance.

Moderate high-temperature strength, but slightly inferior to some high-alloy steels.
