Threaded Flanges

Threaded flanges, also known as threaded flanges, have threads in the flange holes that mate with external threads on the pipe. This type of connection is quick and easy, but is not suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. Threaded flanges are primarily used in utility services, such as water and gas supply.

Blind Flanges

A 2-inch ANSI B16.5 RF Grade 150 forged stainless steel blind flange is a blank disc with bolt holes. This flange is used in conjunction with other flange types to isolate piping systems or as an end connection for pipes. Blind flanges can also be used as manhole covers in vessels.

Slip-on Flanges

Slip-on flanges have a hole matching the outer diameter of the pipe through which the pipe passes. The flange is mounted on the pipe and fillet welded from the inside and outside. Slip-on flanges are suitable for low-pressure and low-temperature applications. Available in large sizes, these flanges can also be used to connect large-diameter pipes and tank nozzles. Typically, these flanges are forged and equipped with a hub. Sometimes, they are made from plate and do not have a hub.

Weld-Neck Flanges

Weld-Neck flanges are the most widely used flanges in process piping. Because they utilize butt welding, they provide the highest joint integrity. This type of flange is suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. Compared to other flange types, weld neck flanges are larger and more expensive.
