How to store stainless steel tees

Stainless steel tees are high-performance, corrosion-resistant pipe fittings. While there are significant differences between tees and elbows, tees are widely used in pipeline construction. Despite their excellent corrosion resistance, care must be taken during storage to prevent quality issues.

Stainless steel tees come in two main types: T-type and Y-type. These two types serve different purposes, but both are common. So, how should stainless steel tees be stored?

1. After production, stainless steel tees must be sealed and handled with care to prevent corrosion.

2. To passivate the surface of stainless steel tees, they can be wrapped in three layers of canvas for enhanced protection.

3. Stainless steel tees are primarily made of stainless steel. While stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability, protective plates are still necessary. These plates are preferably made of stainless steel or lead sheet. 4. When transporting stainless steel tees, always place them in sealed boxes. Opened boxes must be covered with canvas, and the pipe ends must be sealed with plastic.

5. When storing stainless steel tees, avoid contact with other materials to protect them from contaminants such as moisture and dust. These are important considerations when storing stainless steel tees. Stainless steel tees are widely used in pipeline construction due to their numerous advantages.
