Are DIN and ANSI flanges compatible?

‌DIN and ANSI flanges are not compatible‌. Flanges of different standards cannot be used in combination directly due to differences in size, thread, etc. For example, the differences between ANSI and DIN standards are large, and these two types of flanges cannot be used directly together. Even if the flanges of the two standards look similar, they may not be matched due to slight size differences.‌

In order to solve the compatibility problem between flanges of different standards, conversion flanges can be used. Conversion flanges are a special flange that can convert the interface of flanges of two different standards. For example, when using ANSI standard flanges to connect DIN standard flanges, ANSI/DIN conversion flanges can be used to connect the two.
