Welded stainless steel elbows, due to the presence of weld joints, have relatively limited pressure resistance and are more suitable for medium- and low-pressure conditions.

In terms of safety, seamless stainless steel elbows eliminate the risk of weld defects, have a stable overall structure, and a lower probability of leakage or breakage, resulting in higher safety. In contrast, the weld joints of welded stainless steel elbows are potential weak points, requiring stricter quality control and maintenance during long-term operation or under harsh conditions. In terms of durability, seamless stainless steel elbows have a continuous metal structure and uniform stress distribution, maintaining good performance even under long-term high temperature, high pressure, or frequent start-stop conditions, and generally have a longer service life. Welded stainless steel elbows, on the other hand, are more prone to shortening their service life due to weld fatigue or corrosion.

From a cost perspective, seamless stainless steel elbows have higher manufacturing requirements and relatively lower raw material utilization, resulting in a higher overall cost. Welded stainless steel elbows have a simpler production process, lower cost, and a greater price advantage.

Welded stainless steel elbows are mostly used in general industrial pipelines or ordinary operating conditions where cost is sensitive.
