180° carbon steel pipe elbow manufacturing process

The most common manufacturing process for carbon steel pipe bends is hot forming. Hot forming is divided into two types: hot push bending and hot heating bending. Our 180° carbon steel pipe bends are manufactured using the hot push process. The process flow diagram is shown below.

Pipe fittings are a general term for components in a piping system used for connection, control, direction change, flow diversion, sealing, and support. Steel pipe fittings belong to pressure piping accessories. Based on the processing technology, pipe fittings can be divided into four categories: butt-welded fittings (both welded and seamless types), socket-welded fittings, threaded fittings, and flanged fittings. Fittings that can change the direction of a pipe are called elbows. The function of a 180° carbon steel elbow is to connect two parallel pipes.
