Advantages of seamless carbon steel elbows
The raw material for seamless carbon steel elbows is seamless steel pipe. The main production process involves heating and piercing a round tube billet, then rolling it using three-roll cross rolling, continuous rolling, or extrusion to set (or reduce) the outer diameter of the pipe. After cooling, it is straightened. It undergoes direct hydrostatic testing (or flaw detection), is marked, and then stored. Schxx represents the wall thickness grade; 180e (S) indicates a short-radius 180° carbon steel elbow, and 180e (L) indicates a long-radius 180° elbow; 90E (S) indicates a short-radius 90° carbon steel elbow, and 90e (L) indicates a long-radius 90° elbow; 45

180° carbon steel pipe elbow manufacturing process
The most common manufacturing process for carbon steel pipe bends is hot forming. Hot forming is divided into two types: hot push bending and hot heating bending. Our 180° carbon steel pipe bends are manufactured using the hot push process. The process flow diagram is shown below.

What are the advantages of using sliding flanges?
A sliding flange is a type of slip-on flange. Slip-on welding involves welding only the outer layer, not the inner layer. Slip-on flanges are typically used for medium- and low-pressure pipelines with a nominal pressure less than 2.5 MPa. There are four types of sealing faces for slip-on flanges: flat face, raised face (RF), FM/M, and tongue and groove (TG). Flat face is the most widely used and the cheapest. A sliding flange is a slip-on flange with a short neck. Carbon steel sliding flanges, or SO flanges, are generally cheaper than welded neck flanges, which is why customers often choose sliding flanges. As the name suggests, a sliding flange fits over a

Comparison of 180° and 90° Carbon Steel Elbows
Today, I will introduce one of our most popular products by comparing 180° carbon steel elbows with 90° elbows. When two pipe sections are parallel but not aligned, using a single 180° carbon steel elbow is more efficient than welding together two 90° elbows.

How to Weld Flanged Pipe Fittings
A weld flange is a connecting component used to join pipes and fittings at their ends. These flanges feature bolt holes; two flanges are bolted tightly together with a gasket placed between them. As a disc-shaped component, the weld flange is the most widely used type in piping engineering.

Information on Carbon Steel Elbows
Carbon steel elbows are first classified by their radius of curvature into long-radius and short-radius elbows. A long-radius elbow has a radius of curvature equal to 1.5 times the pipe's outer diameter (R = 1.5D), while a short-radius elbow has a radius of curvature equal to the pipe's outer diameter (R = 1.0D), where D is the elbow diameter and R is the radius of curvature. Based on pressure ratings, there are approximately seventeen classifications—aligning with US pipe standards—including Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20, Sch30, Sch40s, STD, Sch40, Sch60, Sch80s, XS, Sch80, Sch100, Sch120, Sch140, Sch160, and XXS; among these, STD and XS are the most comm

Key Components in Aerospace Engineering: Flange Pipe Fittings
In the vast realm of aerospace engineering, there are many indispensable components, and Aosendike undoubtedly stands out as a critical one. You might ask: what exactly is a flange fitting? Simply put, it is a connecting component between two sections of piping. Maintaining a secure and leak-proof connection is paramount in high-pressure environments, and this is where high-pressure flanges play a vital role. High-pressure flanges are used to connect high-pressure pipelines, ensuring safety and stability under extreme conditions. Consider the complex and harsh pressures and temperatures encountered in space; the high-pressure flange acts as a lifeline, guara
